Messy Cake Balls

OI know I haven't updated for a week. There is some stuff I really want to talk about but school is taking over right now.

As school continues I've learned how to procrastinate and avoid what I need to be doing. Hence, these messy and delicious cake balls.

I've had a chocolate cupcake mix sitting in my pantry for around a month now. I also had half a package of almond bark in the fridge that I needed to use. The only problem was I didn't have icing to mind the crumbled cake together. Some quick googling solved my problem and I was off making delicious balls of cake dunked in a vanilla candy coating.

Ingredients:
Box of cake mix (and whatever is required for the mix)
1/2 c. Milk
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 package of vanilla almond bark
** I want to state that these cake balls are by no mean pretty but not pretty doesn't mean it won't taste good**

1) Bake cake as recommended
2) Remove from pan, once it isn't too hot and put in large bowl. Store in freezer/refrigerator until completely cooled
3) Stir milk and vanilla together and slowly add to the crumbled cake mix until the crumbs can be shaped.
4) Roll the cake into balls and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper (at this time, if you have time, I would put them in the fridge for another hour to firm them up. I however didn't have this time so I just went all in).
5) Melt the almond bark and dip the cake balls
6) let the candy coating harden and enjoy

I told you all they were messy. It's just because I didn't let the cake harden before dipping it in the candy melts but that's okay. I ate way too many and I pushed off some history and Algebra II, it's a win win. I will try to update again soon, probably with some ramblings or something. I'm going on a youth retreat this weekend (random side note)!!
