A Normal Friday Night

So you may or may not have heard of a little thing called "Friday Night Lights". You know, where high school students gather together on Friday nights to rally with the football team? Well you see, I have gone to maybe 2 football games a season for the past four year. Last year I went to my usual two games and both were rained out after I payed to get in (no thank you).

Honestly one of the biggest reasons I didn't go to football games in the past is because no one ever wanted to actually watch the game. I paid to get into the game, I want to watch the game. For the past three years, not being a senior also meant I couldn't get into the student section. This year was different though because I GOT INTO THE STUDENT SECTION. If you haven't a seen what student sections are like I'll give you a glimpse of ours from last Friday, below.
And if you zoom in really far, in the back right corner you will find me.
As you can see I was really happy to be there
I left after half time with my friends however because we were losing 36-6. We went and got $5 Smoothie King, so that was a win. We ended up losing 48-6 at the end of the night, so I'm okay that we left. Honestly, though, it was really fun to be part of the student section. My friends rock and were the reason I got a seat in the student section because I was running late.

Here are some other photos from the game.

Aly... haha, she's my EIC on Newspaper

Our football team is huge as you can see. This is just the varsity team, we have another full JV team and freshman team. I guess I should expect football to be popular in a suburban-rural town in Missouri.

While I still might not go to every single varsity football game, I do want to get more involved me senior year. So far my year has been great, and I'm excited to see what the rest has in store.

Until next time,
Taylor xx
