Lazy Saturday

Surprise, surprise, this week was exhausting. It was only four days yet it felt like forever. I went to a Halloween party last night and today I have decided to relax until tonight.
I'm not very good at decisions, and today wasn't any different. I narrowed it down to that I wanted to bake cookies and with further investigation I finally decided on Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. I wanted to start them pretty quick so I simply typed the cookies into Google's search engine and went from there. The cookies were delicious. The chocolate and peanut butter combination paired great together. They were a little rich though, but that could be because I ate the raw cookie dough, too.
The ingredients that I used ^^
 Mixing the wet ingredients.
 Blending the dry ingredients.
 Both combined
Finished product!

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chunky or smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
BAKING:
**Preheat oven to 375
1) Cream the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light. **I softened my butter by microwaving it in intervals of about 20 seconds, twice**
2) Add the egg and beat
3) Blend the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together in separate bowl
4) Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture
5) Stir in the chocolate chips.
6) Drop cookie dough onto a lightly greased baking sheets. **I used parchment paper**
7) Bake for 10-12 minutes
