Halloween!

My Halloween was quite uneventful. I stayed in to study for Honors Chemistry, Algebra II, and Journalism. To see all the cute little kids running up to my doorstep was precious. The problem, it had been raining all day. And by raining I mean torrential downpour rain. It was quite awful out. That being said, the amount of cute kids was lacking. We only had our doorbell rang around five times and we probably had fifteen kids total. Anyhow, it was sweet while it lasted.
My favorite part of Halloween is carving pumpkins. Usually my family does it before Halloween night but with the craziness of school it got away from us. I carved a swimmer pumpkin and my dad just did a regular jack-o-lantern face. We didn't have any specific pumpkin carving tools so we had to use our steak knifes (lets just say that's pretty challenging). My dad took the seeds and made delicious pumpkin seeds with some Splenda and sea salt.
Overall, Halloween was enjoyable but I was so stressed out with my school studies that it took away from the holiday. Growing up is tough! I realized I need to enjoy everything while I can.
