I CUT MY HAIR

Short hair seems to be a trend lately. Besides the streets of Hollywood, girls in my school are chopping off their hair as well. I've been planning on cutting my hair for a long time but no I won't try and call myself a "hipster" because the trend has lasted for all of 2014.

 The last time I got my hair cut was in August but I barely did anything to it because I wanted to keep my hair long. As almost all of you know I have curly hair; but, my hair had become too weighed down and long to have any curl. The reason I didn't cut my hair for so long was because I wanted to have it long enough it donate. I mean if I had it that long before I wanted it to go to good use.

I had done my hair the same way each time for homecoming so this year I decided to straighten it. This photo was taken in late September.

I was able to donate 7 inches of my hair to "Children With Hair Loss". They provide wigs with no cost to the patient. The wigs go to children who have cancer, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, burns, and other disorders/diseases.
Even if your hair isn't long enough to donate you can always give money to help support the cause. CWHL has never charged a patient for a wig which is incredible because many other organizations that make wigs make patients pay for them.
