Barnes & Noble's summer reading program invites kids in grades 1 to 6 to read eight books and log them in a reading journal, then trade the finished journal for a free book from a featured list.
How to claim it

Download the reading journal from the Barnes & Noble site when the program opens.

Have your child read and log eight books.

Bring the completed journal to a store during the redemption window (July 1 to August 31 in 2026) to choose a free book.
