The scoop
The National Park Service waives entrance fees on several fee-free days each year. In 2026 they include Veterans Day (November 11).
Free entry is for U.S. citizens and residents, and camping, reservation and tour fees may still apply. Families with a 4th grader can get in free all year with the Every Kid Outdoors pass.
How to claim it

Check the fee-free dates on the National Park Service site.

Visit any participating park on one of those days. No pass needed.
